OUR METHOD

Our 7-step method ensures the highest standards are met every time.

COVER THE SURROUNDINGS

We cover the ground below the roof we are working on with tarpaulins to catch debris, reduce mess and to protect plant life from the biocide.

DISCONNECT DOWNPIPES

We disconnect all gutter downpipes and install temporary collection bags to collect runoff, further protecting the environment by ensuring biocide does not enter the sewer system.

TOWER AND SCRAPE

We erect a mobile tower scaffold and scrape all moss and loose lichen (biomass) down from the peak of the roof and into the guttering or tarpaulin below.

VACUUM DEBRIS

All loose leftover debris is removed from the roof and guttering using a gutter vacuum.

APPLY BIOCIDE

Biocide is applied to the roof tiles by brushing into the tiles and gaps between. We use a chemical dosing unit which premixes chemical and water thus eliminating human error.

COLLECT WASTE

All mess created is collected into bags and removed from the site. We are licensed waste carriers and use licensed waste disposal centres.

FOLLOW UP VISIT

We carry out a return visit to site 3-6 months after application, to confirm the biocide is performing as it should and to ensure the guttering is still empty.
